Springtime Sewing: New Machines, Common Questions, and Partner Perks Await!

Hey Reader!

Spring time brings garage sales, estate sales, and sewing machines on the curb. I have very that I want to add to my herd but I'll be looking for them. Are you hoping to find a new to you machine this spring?

On The Blog

I've been doing a lot of posts on newer sewing machines lately. We want to be a full-service website. We have been covering types of machines, machines based on type of sewing, machines for quilting, and long arm quilting machines.

With all the new blog posts about sewing machines has come a very common question, "Why is my thread breaking?" So it was time to update that post with an easier to read flow chart.

I also updated the Singer Models list. We've had several models discontinued at a few that went to JoAnn exclusives. Singer has also come out with their version of a Cricut. I haven't done any research on it but I promise you I will.

What’s up buttercup? I’m enjoying the sunshine being around longer! The other day a friend shared a photo of a quilt that they had purchased the pattern of based on the photo. When my friend started looking at the photo it was easy to see it was an AI photo and not the actual quilt. While I use software when I’m designing patterns and may even use digital illustrations when teaching a method or a block rest assured if you see something of mine, it was sewn by either myself or by Paul.
