ICYMI: I'm OK - BIG NEWS
Hey Reader I realize it's been a month or two since I've popped into your inbox for some of you. I hadn't realized how long it had been until I got a sweet email asking if I was OK since I hadn't sent an email or posted anything on social media. I've had my nose to the grindstone these last few months so anything that wasn't pre-scheduled didn't get created.

What have I been up to you ask? I'm getting ready to move my entire website to a new host. My original plan was to keep going as usual while I was working on the move but I quickly realized that for every new article I wrote was just one more I would have to move. It made so much more sense to just stop with new content and work on the new website.

What's Changing
The big thing you'll notice is every article will have a new URL. Don't panic if you've bookmarked article or pinned them I am setting up redirects from the old URL to the new URL. Since I'm moving to what I call a big girl website my store will be hosted on my website and not a third party. This will help cut the fees that I pay to the third party website and keep folks on my website which is always the goal. The other big thing that is changing will be the overall look of the website but not the basic functionality of the website.

What's Not Changing
The content! The tips, tricks, and patterns will still be on the website. There might be a delay getting the photos, graphics, and videos put back into the articles but I'm working in order of the most popular posts so the ones you go to all the time will be back the quickest. Some posts might be a lot better because they are all getting updated during this process.

When Is The Change Happening
And here's the real reason I'm emailing you today. I want you, my most devoted readers, to know that the website will be unavailable starting at 9:00 PM Wednesday May 31 to approximately 1:00 AM June 1. These times are in CST. As the posts are finished, I can't link to other articles on the website until it is live, I will add them to the monthly newsletters. In the meantime the basic information will be available on the website.

Hey Reader! I am shaking my head at the undertaking I've jumped into with this move for the website. It's been a lot!! I've had to learn a whole new platform but the good news is it is forcing me to fix up and expand guides written years ago. So there may be a few hiccups but if you bear with us while we renovate it will be worth it for all of us! On The Blog A pop-up on each page lets you know we are under renovation.
